Al-Fatihah is the most often recited surah of the Qur’an. During our daily prayers, it is recited at least 26 times. In seven short verses this chapter touches on seven major themes of the Qur’an. This short thematic study of al-Fatihah captures the message and essence of this wonderful chapter. In a simple and non-theological way the reflections in this book help in understanding the ethical, social and spiritual dimensions of the core Qur’anic themes.
